A new musical by Sasson/Sautter based on the original story starring the international star soprano Deborah Sasson as "Christine" and Axel Olzinger as "Phantom".

Breath taking scenery and state-of-the-art 3D video technique create the perfect stage illusion.

The critics are unanimous: This new "Phantom of the Opera" is the most spectacular musical currently touring through Europe. Audiences are fascinated by the powerful new music and the sensitive lyrics. Technically perfect stage effects and a sophisticated interchange of transformations and special effects round the spectacular production off.

The new musical was created for the 100th anniversary of Gaston Leroux`s world famous novel "Le Fantôme de l`Opéra", which was first published in 1911. The authors of the new show, Deborah Sasson and Jochen Sautter, rely more closely on the original work than any other musical stage version of the well‐known story. Deborah Sasson composed the music, while the star producer team Köthe/Heck influenced the work with some musical ideas. Quotations of classical works from composers mentioned in Leroux’s novel were important to Sasson. She incorporated them into her new musical compositions as form giving factors.

British musical director and conductor Peter Moss, who has been arranging music for the BBC London for several decades, completed the orchestrations. Both, Jochen Sautter and Deborah Sasson wrote the lyrics in close collaboration. Sautter is as well director and choreographer of the show. The Canadian designer Michael Scott, whose stage sets for the Metropolitan
Opera in New York have been critically acclaimed, created the exciting scenery.

The role of the "Phantom" is performed by Axel Olzinger, who had his share of success in numerous roles on the stages of the "Vereinigte Bühnen" in Vienna and in the London West End. "Christine" is interpreted by the award winning, international star soprano Deborah Sasson herself. Her powerful and multi-faceted soprano voice is predestined for the marriage of classical and musical theatre genre. The outstanding cast is composed of internationally renowned actors and singers. A live orchestra of 18 musicians selected and directed by musical director Peter Moss, is performing the powerful music.
